Creation for the Grande Chapelle of the Palais des Papes in Avignon, during a carte blanche offered by Les Hivernales. The Grande Chapelle: a single 52-meter nave, seven rib-vaulted bays, a vault that culminates in a height of 20 meters… How can the modesty of bodies be brought into play? How can we play with the powerful resonance of the room? How can the living be established in a space loaded with the weight of centuries and past crowds? Juste avant le bruit is now a permanent piece in the company’s repertoire, for monumental spaces: churches, industrial halls, factories…
