“A hostile atmosphere fills the air. A vast, inhuman void is created in this crowd where men, women and elderly people walk past each other blindly, ignoring each other. Even worse: they jostle and clash with each other, they attack each other, or else love breaks out. Duets are barely sketched out: fragments of a manly battle or friendship, sensuality and rivalry mingling in the lost memory of a tango? This is the opposite of everything one would expect from a contemporary piece: no high-tech, no video, just that old rock music, and these old bodies of ours, close to deterioration, but which tells us so much about who we are today”.
